Researcher and a life long learner
Hi! I'm Asifur Rahman, a doctoral researcher at Stony Brook University, New York, where I study the mechanics of morphing structures.
I am driven by a curiosity that crosses disciplines. Beyond my research, I maintain a deep passion for visual art, music, programming, and various other creative pursuits.
Whether approaching a research problem, creating a drawing, or learning music, I apply a consistent method: I deconstruct the whole into its smallest parts, understand each component and their interactions, and then synthesize them to gain a deeper understanding of the whole.
This website documents that journey and the inspirations I’ve gathered along the way. I hope you find something here that sparks your own curiosity.
